Fastest Woman at San Diego International Triathlon...Sport Science Lab's Julia Juliusson...

She did it again.

Fresh from victory in Iowa, Julia won another sprint Tri...this one in San Diego, The San Diego International Sprint Tri on Sunday, June 27th. Over 900 athletes participated.

This time Julia won her age group...and was the fastest woman overall.

Her time of 1 Hr 12 Minutes was over 3-minutes faster than the next closest woman (1 Hr 15-min).

btw...as part of her great day, Julia ran her fastest 5K ever.

Next up for Julia is the San Francisco Aquathon which involves a swim from world-famous Alcatraz (brrrrrr) and a run over the Golden Gate Bridge. How cool!

As we've written before, Julia attributes a lot of her success to the training at Sport Science Lab...particularly the foundational footwork series...training her feet-- the only part of the body that touches the ground, yet the most ignored.

Yaaay Julia!!
