Alignment and Injury Prevention

When you stop to think about working joints, you will notice that they work in certain ranges of motion and certain planes of movement. As soon as you turn it out of range it doesn't have maximal force abilities and you're really going to increase your chance of getting injured.

The minute you are able to stabilize and balance your body properly starting with your feet you will not be able to maximize the force the leg can produce, but you're going to keep the line of your leg structurally correct. When you can keep the proper alignment of the leg going, specifically at high rates of speed, you're going to drastically reduce your chances of injury.
