Supplements-Part I

Athletes are always looking for an edge, something to make them bigger, stronger or faster. It's very common to turn to supplements to get that edge. Pills and supplements feed into the, Wealth Without the Work fascination many people have. We do not endorse many supplements because nature provides us with the nutrition that we need...our bodies can get everything they need from the earth.
Before turning to a supplement you must first address how you are currently eating. Most athletes must have three full meals and three full snacks a day. A consistent intake of the right fuels: carbohydrates, proteins and fats will help keep your body running efficiently as well as prevent your blood sugar level from dropping.
The more processed something is, the more work your body has to do in order to digest it. Instead of looking to a supplement such as whey for protein, try eggs instead. Eggs are one of the best sources of amino acids and they are natural. One supplement that we do recommend is spirulina, which is a good source of natural amino acids.

Comments
I started taking spirulina two weeks ago in powder form. The taste isn't so bad. Tastes like 'nori' or seaweed wrap. It's good stuff.
