Hand Putty

Hand strength is essential in many exercises. Squeezing hand putty is an effective way to build significant hand strength.

Procedure: 

Hold the putty between your fingers and thumb. Squeeze it for 60 seconds, moving the putty around to re-form it into a ball. After one minute move the putty down to your palm and squeeze against the palm. Switch hands after 60 seconds and repeat.

Tips: 

Do 5 sets with each hand the first week. Add one to two sets for the following 4 - 6 weeks.
Putty comes in different varieties. Most range from very soft to hard. Start out with a medium firmness if in doubt.

Where do you get putty, I didnt see it in the the store.

I keep the putty in my car so I can strengthen and RELAX my hands while stuck in traffic. The putty has increased my grip strength. I also have it by my computer to avoid carpel tunnel.
