Repeat Miles

Many sports require both anaerobic and aerobic endurance. This exercise will help build both your anaerobic and aerobic thresholds.

Procedure: 

Run one mile for time. Take a one minute break then run another mile. Take another one minute break then run another mile. This exercise is designed to increase the body's ability to deliver blood and oxygen to the cells and also is one of those distances that is both anaerobic and aerobic.

Tips: 

Make sure you are properly hydrated before doing this type of running.
