Top Five: Abdominal Exercises

Hi everybody! I was wondering if I could mine your heads. What are your top five favorite abdominal exercises? I'm thinking from a standpoint of effectively training the abdominal area for sports, but if you have a different view of ab exercises, let me know. I'm interested in all of your views. Thanks!

Re: Top Five: Abdominal Exercises
You want to get in a supine position with your arms fully extended overhead. Grasp the handles of resistance tubing in either hand. The tubing should be anchored at floor level far enough away that there is only a little tension on it prior to starting the movement. You then initiate the movement by sweeping your hands down towards your hips as you sit-up, then continue to move your arms forward. At the end of the movement you are sitting up with your back straight and your arms extended forward at shoulder height. Reverse the movement back to the starting position. That's one rep.

Brad, how do you perform Dragonfly Sit-Ups?
Re: Top Five: Abdominal Exercises
Some great exercises already listed here but here are a few of my favs:
1. Power Wheel Crawl- feet attached to PW, body in plank position using arms to propel yourself forward. Try 200 yds of these!!!
2. Power Wheel Pike-Ups- feet in PW, rest of movement similar to SSL pike-ups.
3. PW Roll-Outs- On knees, torso straight from knees to top of head, rolling out and back.
4. Planche Pushups- these really work the posterior and back but require tremendous core strength.
5. Dragonfly Sit-Ups- love these!

Here's the 1-leg RDL with dumbbells. You can probably imagine what it looks like with KBs or a med-ball. You can also do them with resistance tubing anchored waist high.
