Twist Conditioning

Hi all,

I'm brand new to all this. I'm very interested in this type of training and I'm still searching throught the site to see what's going on. I have a few questions:

1) Although not completely similar by any means, there are some similarities to Twist Conditioning. Has anyone here heard of Twist and any thoughts?

2) Is there are step by step process on how to go about starting to learn about these programs? I live in Canada and I'm a boxing coach looking for new mthods of training.

3) Are there any resources as far as books that help the trainers out.

Thanks,

Joel

Re: Twist Conditioning

1) I also live in Canada and have heard of Twist, and their balance ball work is very good and I have started adding some of their exercise into my Balance ball workout where appropriate.

2) If you read the all the chapters under the methodology tab you will see what will be achieved by these training methods. Every facet of this training method (Foundational Footwork, Balance Ball, Aquakenetic) can be used as stand alone workouts. Combined together alone with sport specific training they create something that cannot be duplicated.

For example, I train using only SSL methods and have improved my pull-up max by 7 reps in two months without ever doing pull-ups. I am 100% sure that if you implement these training methods in you're and your students training that you will see vast improvements in every aspect of their games.

3) In my opinion this website is the best resource on this type of training; I've looked very hard trying to find others that would compliment and besides some of Twist's Balance Ball work there is nothing that compares. When you start doing the workouts your imbalances will be remedied and your body will heal. I believe that because of this your body will start to tell you exactly what it needs through your own intuition, and SSL's methodology will meet all those needs.
