Music?

What kind of music do you like to listen to when you're working out, or training, or just doing whatever? I like a ton of stuff...a lot of rock'n'roll, and some weird obscure artists too. One guy I've been following close is Sam Beam from Iron & Wine. If I want to get pumped up I listen to Rage Against the Machine, The Vandals, or ...And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead... (long name!).
Anyone have a favorite band?

Re: Music?
Haven't heard that song but I'm definitely going to go watch the movie!
Re: Music?
I have a collection of music mix cd's from Aerobics training classes. Constant beat with no interruption.
Re: Music?
Blondie, Nazareth, Bob and Ziggy and Little Feat really get me going!
Re: Music?
Okay here is something way off beat. My daughter got me listening to Crazy Frog. Makes me smile and move at the same time. :-)
Re: Music?
Classic Van Halen makes me happy, makes me move it.
if i am doing a workout
if i am doing a workout where i will have to dig really deep, there is nothing that gets me there like the dillinger escape plan.
much too crazy and fucking nuts for most tastes though. also, jay z is pretty good for some steady beats. he gets me pumped up too.
also, my fav band forever.............................the beatles. but not when i work out. when i play the guitar, lots of beatles, pantera, chili peppers, radiohead, nirvana, charlie parker, wes montgomery.
I enjoy training to anything
I enjoy training to anything hard hitting and thounderous like Ludacris, Black Sabath, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Foo Fighters, Daft phunk, and any energetic thounderous powerful songs I like being amped and up lifted training I perform better with a good song on
I enjoy working out with
I enjoy working out with reggae or smooth Jazz. I know it's odd music to workout to, but, honestly, once I get into the "zone" of intensity, I don't even notice the music. I've set PR's with Bob Marley in the background.
