Professional Athlete
The number one concern of every professional athlete is how to stay injury free and improve performance. So many of these athletes come from the setting of college and professional weight rooms alike and are therefore unaware of the dangers associated with this type of training or its limitations in improving speed, power or lateral movement. Maximal weightlifting tightens the musculature and destabilizes the joints due to the excessive load. The heavier an athlete goes in a weight room the slower he gets as speed and power are neurological functions and the more the brain is programmed to move at these slow speeds, the more ability to move the limbs at high rates of speed in space slows down.
This was proven over 30 years ago by the Yuri Verkoshansky over and over in his repeated testing of athletes and different training methods. Maximal Heavy Weightlifting negated speed it did not enhance it.
Training professional athletes is a science and to give professional athletes an edge you have to know what parts of the human body make them run fast, jump high or throw hard. You can then evaluate any athlete on a comparative basis against the best in the world and provide proven technology to solve the muscular imbalances that are limiting their athletic ability. This has taken years to refine.
SSL provides the tools and environment where athletes can strive to be the best they can be.
Full rehabilitation services are offered as well.
