Get Fit Today!
Although fat loss seems like a very difficult thing to achieve it actually is quite simple if you follow some basic principles and are self-disciplined with what you eat. I am not a big believer in fat loss diets. I believe in changing eating habits, not just for fat loss, but also for overall health. Our food supply is so contaminated with processed foods, sugars, trans fats, preservatives, unsaturated oils, food colorings, etc. that our bodies are overwhelmed from toxins and this leads to weight gain and disease. By eating a diet of organically-fed protein, organically-grown fruits and vegetables, consistent intake of saturated fat, and complex carbohydrates such as potatoes, brown rice, oatmeal, and millet combined with plenty of water daily you can radically change your health and your body's appearance. If you follow the rule that you need to treat your body correctly 80 percent of the time then you will maintain a life of health and energy that is disease-free.
Once you have solved the nutrition end of things exercise needs to be addressed in order to reduce existing body fat and achieve better muscle symmetry. How do we do that? To reduce weight its simple: you need to burn more calories than you ingest. You will need to do an hour of cardiovascular exercise 5 days a week. It can take the form of many things: riding a bike, running, high speed walking, stair stepper, rowing, elliptical, boxing, wrestling, swimming and playing any other sport you can think of. You have to sweat to get your system moving. By increasing your heart rate and your breathing you speed up your overall metabolism and the weight loss begins. As you start to develop an exercise foundation your work capacity will increase as will the intensity with which you are able to exercise.
Weight loss is discipline. The discipline to eat a healthy diet and the discipline to consistently exercise!
